The Despoiled are phantom creatures featured in Wolfenstein.
These creatures are created by the energies of the Veil. The Despoiled are evil and ruthless enemies which can be incredibly dangerous, although there are rarely seen. The Despoiled have a powerful melee attacks but usually prefer to hurl Veil energy at Blazkowicz as a type of projectile.
The Despoiled are created by released, wild Veil energy which then enpowers already dead Nazi SS Officers. The energy then incinerates most of the flesh and musle and gives The Despolied a skeletal look with the Veil energy violently flowing out of the body in flames.
There are two types of The Despoiled which both vary in strengths. Red versions are more powerful and dangerous than their Green counter-parts but Green versions are much more common. Both types are usually independant and won't attack in groups, although sometimes The Despoiled are with groups of Nazi soliders.
